Lamb keema

- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 500g minced lamb
- 1 400 g tin tomatoes
- 0.5 tsp mild chilli powder
- 0.5 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 200g coconut milk
Step 1
Heat the oil in a large heavybased saucepan, then put in the onion and cook it quickly, stirring to make sure it doesn't catch, unti l it's translucent.
Step 2
Add the garlic and stir.
Step 3
Put in the mince and stir until it browns.
Step 4
Add the spices, then the tomatoes and coconut milk.
Step 5
Simmer for half an hour, then serve with rice.
